From within
the WebMasterQuest member area menu, simply click on the "Assign
Credits" menu link. From here, you can assign your
credits/percentages, and you can also move credits between your
websites. Your total unnused credits are displayed at the top of the
assignment box, along with your unnused credit
percentage.
|
 |
|
The Assignment Box (shown on left), is where
you assign credits to the websites that you have nominated for
rotation. In this example, there are 2 sites that already
have credits assigned to
them.
| To assign credits to an existing
website, simply type the amount of credits that you wish to assign
directly into the box located to the right of your website name. In
the example above, you would type 300 into the box that currently
contains the number "0", shown to the right of the website known as
"FWT_Popup4". The screen capture below notes that as soon as you click
the save button, the credits are automatically assigned. The overall
quantity of unnused credits is reduced by 300, and the quantity of
credits assigned to the "FWT_Popup4" increases by
300.
 |
|
Active websites ... Websites that are active
and in WMQ rotation, are shown with a "Yes" in
the "Active?" column. To stop a website from "using up" your
credits, simply click on the "Yes"
link, and it will change to a "No"
link.
| |
You can assign as many credits as you wish, from your
total unnused credits. To put your websites into heavy rotation, it
is advised that your combined weighting equals 100%. In the example
above, the first website "FWT_Popup4" has a weighting of 60%,
indicating that it will be displayed more often that the second
website at 40%. The first website will also use up its assigned
credits more quickly that the second.
|
Website weightings Changing the
weighting percentage of a website, will effect how often your site
is displayed, in relation to your overal website rotation. Assigning
a higher percentage to your website will result in an increase in
its overall rotation. You can slow down your overall website
rotation by assigning a high weighting to your "Unnused Credits".
Note: 50% in total of all credits earned, will be assigned to your
current websites in rotation, and this is to insure that there are
always plenty of website in
rotation. | Moving
Credits

Moving
credits ... You can also move credits to an another website,
by selecting it, then typing in the quantity you wish to move.
Remember to click the "Move Credits" link to save your
selections. |
